The Asset and Logistics (A&L) Program at the Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer (OCRSO) has a requirement to fund the annual Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) license maintenance agreement in support of the SAMS application, which is the recognized system of record for DHS HQ and several other DHS components. This system, which uses CGI Federal’s Sunflower Assets software and Sunflower Sentry Module software, allows DHS Headquarters and components to track, manage and appropriately dispose of property items that support the DHS mission and its operational readiness, including vehicles, information technology, equipment, and weapons. This requirement will allow DHS to continue to receive software upgrades, patches, helpdesk support, software documentation and maintenance to support SAMS.
