Prepping roof for new The... The work involves removing existing gravel roof per manufacturer’s recommendation. The existing roof is an asphalt topcoat with gravel on top. The underlayment is foam board. Prepping roof for new Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof installation. Project will require Contractor to stage materials and work area as to not interfere with FLETC day-to-day activities. Location of work area will be coordinated with Project Manager. As with any project of this nature, safety is imperative and onsite monitoring will be conducted throughout the length of the project. The Government is requesting a product to be used to ensure no less than a 30-year warranty. Contractor to field verify area of roof to ensure accurate estimates. NOTE: The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Potential Contractor must be able to pass ALL security checks in order to gain access onto the FLETC campus.
