The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region IX is issuing this Request for Quote(RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 , 13, and 19 (Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Small Business Programs) for rental of forklifts and accessories in support of DR-4404 Super Typhoon Yutu for use at the Sharpe Staging Yard located at 700 East Roth Road Bldg 330 French Camp, CA 95231. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101 dated October 26, 2018. FEMA has determined that this requirement is a total small-business set-aside competition per the FAR 19.502-2. In order to be considered for award you must be a Small Business. The place of performance for this requirement is: Sharpe Staging Yard located at 700 East Roth Road Bldg 330 French Camp, CA 95231. Please see the attached RFQ for additional information and applicable provisions and clauses. Submission: FEMA will only accept responses submitted via email with the subject "Quote Submitted in Response to 70FBR919Q00000042". Submissions shall be emailed to andrea.brunsman@fema.dhs.gov using the CLIN structure in the attached RFQ and confirming that delivery of the forklifts can be made by Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Submissions are due NO LATER THAN Friday, March 15, 2019 at 4:00 PM Pacific.
