There is the possibility that the lease may go beyond 9/30/2024 (up to 3 years). FEMA is conducting market research to determine the best posible approach for furniture for the space. Two options being considered are lease or buy. The furniture is not required to match any existing furniture. FEMA is open to vendor recommendations to meet its need. It is important to note this is a temporary space in support of a disaster, therefore, FEMA is seeking furniture in good condition for a reasonable price. Funding for this requirement falls under Stafford Act and as such, local businesses must be considered. If no local businesses are capable of meeting the need, FEMA is willing to consider other options.
