This is a Request for Information (RFI), in which sources are being sought to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources that can provide POD lodging alternatives for FEMA responders pending and shortly after Hurricane Dorian makes landfall. FEMA is soliciting for contractors that can provide turnkey lodging PODs (sleep trailers) to include the following: showers, restrooms, handwashing stations, laundry, janitorial, and support equipment as required. (see attached Statement of Work) FEMA is mainly interested in those companies that are residing or doing business primarily in the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. However, any/all potential contractors that feel their company can support this immediate requirement for POD lodging services are encouraged to respond. Responses to this notification will be used to determine potential sources only, and no offers will be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract from this sources sought notification. Due to the expedited nature of this requirement all responses must be received no later than Sunday, September 01, 2019 by 2:00 pm EDT. Interest/capability statements need to be sent to Stewart Knotts at stewart.knotts@fema.dhs.gov. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor/interested party. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
