The specific details of the pending construction effort will be outlined in a formal solicitation/request for quote and Statement of Objective (SOO). The estimated date of issue for the request for quote is on or around April 9th, 2020. Description of work: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment and materials for build out and connection of potable water supply, grey water supply, and black water disposal piping systems to containerized personal hygiene and kitchen facilities for temporary Western Shelter structures located at Mayaguez Medical Center’s back parking lot. The temporary Western Shelter containerized units are configured with a kitchen, two laundry, and two-bathroom facilities. Location: The location where the work will be performed is Mayaguez Medical Center, Ave. Hostos #410, PR-2 Bo Sabalos, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico 00681. Contract performance shall begin, Monday, April 13th, 2020. Contract performance shall be complete by Friday April 17th, 2020. Plans: No plans or drawings will be made available for this effort. Socio-Economic considerations: This effort shall be restricted to a total Small Business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. Fees for solicitation documents: Fees for solicitation documents are not applicable to this action and will not be assessed.
