BACKGROUND: Training: Collaborative Conversations - Turning Strife into Success. Background: FEMA’s 2018-2022 Strategic Plan, Strategic Goal II. Ready the Nation for Catastrophic Disasters, Objective 2.1 Organize the “BEST” (Build, Empower, Sustain, and Train) scalable and capable incident workforce. Scope: To facilitate the leadership development within this conflict resolution skills course is designed to reframe the thinking and leadership skills of the team members. Participants will experience practical lessons on collaborative leadership under three overarching themes: • Gaining improved self-awareness and insight; • Building and growing vision as a leader; • Learning and mastering practical tools that can be used immediately; This course shall include three (3), 1-hour virtual sessions. Sessions to happen August - September 2020.
