The Government will use responses to this noti... THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. The FEMA Region 6 LIRO Acquisitions Office is performing market research efforts. The Government will use responses to this notice to assist in making the appropriate acquisition decision. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. This is NOT a Request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document currently exists, and the Government may or may not issue a solicitation announcement based on information received in response to this RFI. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regards to their submissions. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on FEMA. The Government shall not pay for any response provided as result of this RFI. All cost incurred in responding to this RFI will be solely at the expense of the interested sources. Failure to respond to this RFI will not preclude participation in any potential or future solicitation. Any information received will become the property of the Government and will not be returned. Interested sources are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or sensitive information. If a solicitation is issued, all interested parties must respond to that announcement separately from the responses to this RFI. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective offeror’s list or to receive a copy of a current or future solicitation announcement. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. It is responsibility of the interested sources to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this RFI or future solicitation. The purpose of the RFI is to identify qualified and interested sources with the capability to provide services related to the maintenance and deactivation of temporary transportable housing units (TTHU) in support of Hurricane Laura, Disaster (DR) 4559, and Hurricane Delta, Disaster (DR) 4570, Individual Assistance Housing mission. The approximate number of TTHUs is up to 800 units. The places of performance are referenced in the Statement of Work (SOW). This requirement will be supported with funding allocated for Presidentially Declared Disaster, DR-4559-LA, Hurricane Laura and DR-4570-LA, Hurricane Delta, in accordance with the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act(Public Law 93-288), as amended. If a solicitation results from this RFI, it is the intention of FEMA to make an award to a small business residing or primarily doing business in the Presidentially Declared Disaster area for DR-4559-LA, Hurricane Laura, and DR-4570-LA, Hurricane Delta, in accordance with FAR 52.226-3, FAR 52.226-4, and FAR 52.226-5.
