Request for Information (RFI) - Disposal and Destruction of Expired Commodities

Notice ID:70FB7027I00000005

FEMA’s Logistics Management Division is conducting market research to assess industry capability for nationwide disposal of excess, expired, damaged, contaminated, deteriorated, or otherwise unusable emergency response commodities. The anticipated requirement covers the Continental United States, including the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. FEMA is also seeking information on potential capability to support locations outside CONUS, such as Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories or possessions, if needed in the future. The collected information will support contingency planning, requirements development, and operational readiness assessments for mass sheltering operations during natural disasters, humanitarian assistance, and other emergency response scenarios. Additional details are provided in the attachment.
