Synopsis/Solicitation for Plastic Sheeting in support of Hurricane Ida. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 70FB7021R00000031 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Under this requirement, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to award single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. FEMA is working with the United States Corp of Engineers (USACE) to provide plastic sheeting roofing support to the damaged houses and buildings in Louisiana. The contractor shall provide 50,000 Trade Agreement Act compliant plastic sheeting meeting the technical specifications outlined in the attached solicitation package.
