Description FEMA's OCPO, intends to procure HVAC Units. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and under the authority to use simplified procedures as provided in FAR 13.106-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation: No. 70FB7019Q00000013 includes all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAR FAC 2019-01 (January 2019). This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238220 and the business size standard is $15million. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation will be awarded as a firm fixed price type contract. It has been determined there are no opportunities to acquire green products or services for this procurement. Description of Contractor Requirement/Statement of Work: A. Background: The HVAC Units which supply both heating and cooling to multiple buildings and administrative offices at FEMA Selma MHSS, located in Selma Alabama, are in need of repairs or replacements. Some units are not operational, or they are not operating properly. The HVAC units need to be repaired as this is a matter of reasonable accommodation since the buildings are occupied by both FEMA employees and contractors. B. Objective: Replace the HVAC units with new units to provide reasonable accommodations. C. Scope of Work / Specifications/Equipment: Replace current/existing HVAC Units which include: -Four (4) 3 Ton Unit Complete Systems. -One (1) 7.5 Ton Unit Complete System. -Two (2) 3.5 Ton Unit Complete Systems. -One (1) 2 Ton Package Unit. The current units shall be removed by the Contractor. Warranty on labor and parts shall be for a minimum of one (1) year. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, to install the HVAC units. D. Delivery Schedule: Delivery of the units is to be within 30 days after the award of the Purchase Order. The installation and delivery address is FEMA Selma MHSS, 661 Selfield Rd, Selma, AL 36703. The point of contact will be provided to the successful awardee. E. Special Requirements: The Contractor shall possess all permits, insurance, and licenses for the work under this SOW. F. Type of Contract: This is a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order.
