Description FEMA's OCPO, intends to procure radio services for 25 units. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and under the authority to use simplified procedures as provided in FAR 13.106-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation: No. 70FB7019Q00000012 includes all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAR FAC 2019-01 (January 2019). The North American Industry Classification System code is 517312 and the business size standard is 1,500. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation will be awarded as a firm fixed price type contract. It has been determined there are no opportunities to acquire green products or services for this procurement. Description of Contractor Requirement/Statement of Work: A. Background: The FEMA Selma Manufactured Housing Storage Site (MHSS) needs radios/beepers to communicate with personnel working in the field at Selma MHSS which is a Manufactured Housing Unit (MHU) Storage Site that is over 300 acres in size. B. Objective: To procure/secure a new radio/beeper contract for Selma MHSS to maintain contact/communication between site employees working in the field as well as in the administrative offices and anywhere else on site. C. Scope of Work / Specifications: Service for 25 Sonim XP5s Voice Communication Devices (Radios/Beepers), or any future upgraded device if the Sonim XP5s is updated, capable of providing communications across the 300-acre site located at 661 Selfield Rd, Selma, AL 36703. The plan shall include at a minimum unlimited private/group push-to-talk minutes, nationwide long distance, unlimited text messages, call forward, call waiting, call hold, 3-way calling, voice mail, and caller ID.
