Fire suppression
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and FEMA seek a contractor to perform fire suppression maintenance at the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center in Bluemont, VA. Services include semi-annual, annual, and long-term (5-20 years) testing, inspection, and maintenance of various systems, such as wet-sprinkler, dry-sprinkler, pre-action, kitchen hood, clean agent, and foam-based suppression systems, plus six fire pumps. Contractors must hold an active, fully adjudicated Top-Secret Clearance for all personnel and subcontractors, as FEMA will not sponsor clearance applications. Vendors must submit a capabilities statement detailing similar past contracts, including tasks, period of performance, and dollar amounts, and state their clearance status and small business classification. Responses must be sent electronically to the specified FEMA contact.
