In efforts to protect and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic FEMA acquired gowns. The garments were acquired to provide additional support to medical professionals. With the decline in COVID-19 cases the agency seeks to recycle/dispose of approximately 41 million remaining gowns currently being held in storage.
