None of the offerors addressed the requirements in PWS Para 5.1 Basic Services that spoke to the acrylic was going to be cast or extruded, whether the acrylic is rounded/radiused for safety purposes, how the dividers would be affixed to the furniture, nor how the shets would be stabilized. Based on this fact, the three responsive offers were found acceptable. There will be a follow-up announcement [70FA4021QPLEXIGLASS02] for this requirement released today. If you submitted a quote/proposal, and you intend to resubmit, please be sure to address how your company intends to install the acrylic sheets. [End of Final Update] 11 DEC 20 4TH UPDATE On the Long Side drawing there is a measurement for a cut at 7 inches. Change that cut to 6 1/2 inches instead of 7 inches. This will not have an impact on your proposed amount for the 47" x 69" sheet. It will only have impact if you are the resultant awardee, and go to cut the sheets for delivery. The acrylic/plexiglass sheets are to be installed within 10 business days after contract award. There will be two site-visits at 11:00 AM ET and 1:00 PM ET on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 13992 Park Center, Herndon, VA, 20171 [FAR Clause 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction)].
