Individual Assistance Kiosk Prototypes; Questions Answered
FEMA requires a vendor to design, develop, and deliver compact, portable Mobile Kiosk Units for field testing as part of rapid disaster response systems. These kiosks will provide survivors with a self-service option to apply for assistance, upload documents, check case status, and access information on other agency services. The contractor must ensure the units meet specific technical, accessibility, security, and operational requirements, including ADA compliance, privacy measures, internet connectivity, and integration with disasterassistance.gov. Optional features like battery backup and remote monitoring may be included. FEMA will retain, store, and transport the kiosks as needed.
