A RFP is not being issued at this time, and this notice shall not be considered as a commitment by the Government to issue a RFP, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this RFI is to determine if there is capability available to provide the services required to assist FEMA’s mission. Emergency Declarations EM-3538-LA and 3540-TX were declared on August 23 and August 24, 2020 in response to Hurricane Laura impacting coastal/southeast Texas and coastal/southwest LA. FEMA announced that federal emergency aid has been made available to Texas and Louisiana to supplement local response efforts to the emergency conditions in the area affected by Hurricane Laura beginning on August 24, 2020. FEMA is authorized to identify, mobilize, and provide at its discretion, equipment and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency. These resources include those necessary to secure safe lodging for FEMA and other authorized responders. FEMA is seeking contractor support for services including wash and fold laundry, janitorial, equipment, staff, and morale welfare recreation and catering services as identified in the Statement of Work.
