DHS/ICE intends to procure comprehensive detention services (housing, guards, meals, medical care, transportation) on a sole source basis
The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) requires comprehensive detention services for up to 775 detainees for two years in support of the Phoenix Field Office. The services, including guards, meals, medical care, and transportation, must be performed at a facility in the required geographical area and become fully operational soon after contract award. The contractor must provide all personnel and management in compliance with specific ICE and correctional standards. ICE is pursuing a sole-source procurement, stating only one responsible source can meet the requirements. The agency has identified the Management & Training Corporation-operated Marana detention facility as meeting its needs within the necessary timeframe.
