The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to solicit proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) 70B06C24R00000052 for Law Enforcement Safety... The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to solicit proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) 70B06C24R00000052 for Law Enforcement Safety & Compliance (LESC) Directorate for firearms mounted sighting systems (optics). The Government anticipates making a single indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) award resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated contract will be issued with a period of performance of five (5) years. All required supplies are detailed in the Statement of Work, which will be included with the RFP. The RFP will be issued as FAR 15 competitive, set aside exclusively for small business. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332994 (Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing). The SBA size standard is 1,000 employees. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about May 7, 2024. Potential offerors MUST register at SAM.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
