The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to solicit proposals in response to request for proposal (RFP) 70B06C21R00000025 for Distraction Devices, Specialty Impact and Area Saturation Munitions, hand delivered and launced, for training and operationa use. The Government intends to make a single indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract award resulting from this solicitation. However, the Government reserves the right to make additional awards if it would be in the Government's best interest. The anticipated contract will be issued with a five (5) year ordering period. All items are defined in the statement of work (SOW), which will be included with the RFP. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued as a Small Business Set Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332994, (Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing) is determined to be appropriate for this project.
