This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED. The Law Enforcement Safety and Compliance Directorate (LESC), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), intends to solicit proposals in response to the attached request for proposal (RFP) 70B06C21R00000024 for Firearm Sighting Systems (Optics). The Government intends to make a single indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract award resulting from this solicitation. However, the Government reserves the right to make additional awards if it would be in the Government’s best interest. The anticipated contract will be issued with a five (5) year ordering period. All salient characteristics and terms are defined in the attached statement of work (SOW). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333314, (Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing), is determined to be appropriate for this project.
