The RFQ will result in the award of a single indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IQ/IQ) contract for ballistic plate carrier systems. The anticipated contract will be issued with a five (5) year period of performance. The proposed contract will include the following items: carrier systems will be available in black, coyote tan, and rifle green, consisting of a front panel, rear panel, adjustable shoulder straps, and quick release cummerbund. The items will also be available on an individual (or "alacarte") basis to meet individual component requirements. All items are further defined in the statement of work (SOW), which will be included in the RFQ. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on a full and open competitive basis by posting to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 315990. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about August 1, 2019. Potential quoters MUST register at https://fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
