U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), intends to solicit quotes in response to request for quote (RFQ) 70B06C19Q00000099. The RFQ will result in the award of a single indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IQ/IQ) contract for duty holsters. The anticipated contract will be issued with a five (5) year period of performance. The proposed contract will include the following items: Left and Right Hand Non-Light Bearing Holster Kits (to include Holster, Low-Ride Belt Loop Platform, Mid-Ride Loop Platform, and Quick Detach Mounting Mechanism) and Left and Right Hand Light Bearing Holster Kits (to include Holster, Low-Ride Belt Loop Platform, Mid-Ride Loop Platform, and Quick Detach Mounting Mechanism). The items will also be available on an individual (or “ala carte”) basis to meet individual component requirements. All items are further defined in the statement of work (SOW), which will be included in the RFQ. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on a full and open competitive basis by posting to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 316998. The SBA size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about May 6, 2019. Potential quoters MUST register at https://fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract neither does it obligate the Government to pay for any quote preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines prior to award. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov.
