CBP required continued services on the AWS platform as it is the base level computing power for a multitude of mission critical applications. This shor term task order 70B04C23F00000106 was necessary to continue the aforementioned services without interruption as a Government Accountability Office (GAO) protest had been filed against the awarded Task Order 70B04C23F00000007. On January 9, 2023, CBP entered into task order 70B04C23F00000106 on a sole source basis with Four Points Technology, LLC (14900 Conference Center Drive, Suite, 100, Chantilly, VA 20151) via their NASA SEWP contract NNG15SC74B, pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B) (only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized). This short term task order will allow services to continue while the protest filed against 70B04C23F00000007 is adjudicated by GAO. Please see the attached JEFO with further information. On January 19, 2023, task order 70B04C23F00000106 was terminated for the Government's convenience as the protest filed against 70B04C23F00000007 was dismissed by GAO. The stop work notice under task order 70B04C23F00000007 has been lifted and services will recommence on January 20, 2023. CBP is posting this JEFO within 14 days of task order award, as required by FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(D).
