U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires the removal and replacement of vehicle shade canopies at the San Luis I Land Port of Entry in San Luis, Arizona. The current canopies are damaged and beyond repair. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing canopies, furnishing new canopies, and installing the new canopies using the existing support structure. The canopies shall be made of 95% outdoor shade fabric. The San Luis Land Port of Entry is located at: 431 North Main Street San Luis, AZ 85349 This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated period of performance is 85 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. It is anticipated that a Notice to Proceed will be issued within approximately 10 days of contract award. The RFQ will be issued as a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The corresponding size standard is $39.5 million. The estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about September 7, 2021. It is anticipated that contract award will be made on or about September 24, 2021. A site visit will be held prior to the due date for quotes. The date of the site visit will be provided in the RFQ. The expected date is September 14, 2021. Interested vendors are strongly encouraged to attend. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.
