This is a synopsis for the exercise of an option year under previously awarded Purchase Order No. 70B03C21P00000424 for courier services. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Area Port of San Francisco has facilities located on both sides of the San Francisco Bay. Various government items need to be transported between the different sites on a regular basis. This contract requires the contractor to transport these items five days per week via two routes. This contract was awarded in August 2021 to the following contractor: Transportation Marketing Services 122 9th St. San Francisco, CA 94103 The contract contains the following base and option periods: Base Year: 08/27/2022-08/26/2023 Option Year 1: 08/27/2023-08/26/2024 Option Year 2: 08/27/2024-08/26/2025 Option Year 3: 08/27/2025-08/26/2026 The government intends to exercise Option Year 1. The exercise of the option is the most advantageous method of fulfilling the government’s need, price and other factors considered, including the government's need for continuity of operations and potential costs of disrupting operations.
