Please review the attached Request for Proposal and all corresponding documents. The period of performance is for 12 months, with four 12-month option periods. Provide a price breakdown (labor, equipment, etc.) for the total timeframe by year. There will be a site visit on August 7, 2020. Only one representative per company will be allowed onto the premises, who will be required to wear a proper face covering per CDC recommendations. The representative's information must be submitted using the attached "Blank Contractor Form" spreadsheet. Submit form directly to quinecia.d.pryor@cbp.dhs.gov by August 5, 2020. After clearance, details of the site visit will be emailed directly to the vendor's representative. Questions must be submitted by August 10, 2020 at 9:00am CST to severino.sarabia@cbp.dhs.gov. The following clauses will be added to the RFP document - 52.217-8 OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES (NOV 1999) The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 5 days. (End of clause) 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 2000) (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 1 day of contract expiration; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 5 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. Customs and Border Protection will be soliciting a requirement for janitorial and grounds services to support the El Paso Border Patrol Sector. This requirement will be set-aside for 8(a) contractors. The Contractor shall provide all contract management, supervision, staff, labor, supplies, resupply, material, equipment, training, certifications, permits, licenses, and transportation necessary to implement an integrated program of Janitorial and ground maintenance, and select trash/snow removal required to ensure a safe, healthy, clean, and professional work environment at the El Paso Sector facility locations. Full janitorial services will be required in detainee, common, and ground areas. Request for proposal is anitcipated to be posted on beta.sam.gov around August 4, 2020. Evaluation will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal.
