U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), Yuma Sector Border Patrol requires one computer numerical control (CNC) plasma table for retrofitting vehicles and trailers and facilitating the production of signs and other infrastructure components. The plasma table, which shall be equipped with a compressed air plasma torch cutter, shall have a surface area large enough to process a full 4’ x 8’ sheet of ¾" mild plate steel and may not exceed either 114" in length or 74" in width. Required accessories include a laser pointer for visualization of the test cycle and a plate maker for pneumatic engraving. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. The required delivery time is expected to be 60 days after receipt of order (ARO). A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 26, 2020. The RFQ will be set aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that award will be made on or about September 9, 2020. It is anticipated that quotes will be evaluated using a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) process. The applicable NAICS code is 333992 - Welding and Soldering Equipment Manufacturing. The corresponding size standard is 1,250 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.
