This procurement is for the installation of a child play area in accordance with the request for quotation (RFQ) which includes the statement of work (SOW). A site walk-through is not anticipated at this time. If a site walk-though is scheduled this solicitation will be amended with the date and time. Technical questions must be submitted, in writing, to kirk.w.hunt@cbp.dhs.gov, no later than 4 PM (Arizona) on April 22, 2020. Quotations will be due on April 29, 2020 at 10 AM (Arizona). Suppliers quotations will be provided in two separate documents sent to Kirk Hunt at kirk.w.hunt@cbp.dhs.gov. Quotation documents must be compatible with Microsoft Word or Excel or viewable in Adobe Acrobat. Documents must not exceed 5 megabytes in total file size. The two, separate, documents, are: 1) Price and delivery schedule, and 2) Product (play surface) descriptions (NO PRICING). The Government intends to evaluate quotations and award without discussions with offerors (except clarifications as described in FAR). Therefore, the offeror’s initial proposal should contain the offeror’s best price and delivery, plus give complete and concise descriptions of the product (Dispensers). The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer determines them to be necessary. Offerors must be registered in the System For Award Management (www.sam.gov) in order to submit a quotation or be considered for award. There are no fees or charges required for registration at www.sam.gov. Free or no charge registration assistance is available through the US Department of Commerce or the Defense Logistics Agency.
