Updated 4-14-2022 - Revised Q&A Document is attached addressing question 1 about Firm Fixed Price and payment. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations (CBP AMO) operates a large and highly capable fleet of aircraft. Statutory authority, trained enforcement officers and sophisticated equipment culminate in a robust law enforcement agency capable of supporting international counterterrorism and counter drug interdiction efforts and significantly contributes towards shielding America’s air, land, and sea borders. State of the art training is a critical component to ensuring the safe and effective use of aviation, maritime and riverine operations. AMO has a requirement for the lease of fixed wing aircraft located in the Southwest Region (SWR) to train CBP law enforcement agents with low flight hours and a commercial pilots license to meet the requirements to become an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA). CBP intends to award a single award Contract to a prime contractor for the Aircraft training platform. The contract will consist of a one year base period and four one-year options. The acquisition strategy will be a small business set aside competition.
