U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a sole-source contract to Native Energy & Technology, Inc. to continue facility and equipment maintenance and repair services. The services will be performed at CBP locations in the Southeast United States, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. The period of performance for this contract action will be from its award date through March 31, 2029, with an anticipated award date no later than May 1, 2026. The government justifies the sole-source approach due to the unique logistical challenges and the identified contractor's specific experience in these remote areas. A Request for Information for a future competitive follow-on contract is planned for Fall 2027.
