The United States Coast Guard requires the install of scaffolding, including crane services in support of scaffolding install, to develop an aerial working platform at the bottom and top of the TSA Antenna (“Beer Keg”) onboard USCGC BERTHOLF, located at USCG Base Alameda, CA. Additionally, the requirement includs an OPTIONAL single day (8 hour maximum) of crane service in support of repair efforts for the “Beer Keg” antenna, to be coordinated with the COR or Government Representative as required. The Service Contract Act applies. The purchase order resulting from this solicitation will be issued as a FIRM-FIXED PRICE purchase order on the basis of best value. The award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Factors that are being evaluated are as follows, in accordance of importance: Availability to meet performance and completion dates listed in the SOW Adherence to the Specifications in the SOW Price UNIQUE ENTITY IDENTIFIER (UEI) NUMBER, FEDERAL TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, AND CAGE CODE MUST BE INCLUDED. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify firms capable of performing MAJOR M & R OF CONCRETE WHARF AT US COAST GUARD SFO FORT MACON, ATLANTIC BEACH, NC. Major work items include; Rehabilitation of the concrete wharf and upland bulkhead. Situated south of Beaufort Inlet, the wharf measures 300 feet long by 20 feet wide and is comprised of concrete piles, concrete beams, concrete deck and a timber fender system. . The procurement estimate is between $1M and $5M. The NAICS for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5M. At a minimum, the prime contractor will be required to perform 15 % of the cost of the contract with its own employees (not including cost of materials).
