This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z03820QW0000063 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04, dated 15 January 2020. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This is an unrestricted requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded on a competitive basis as a result of this synopsis/solicitation for the items listed below: 1. Line Item Name: Windshield NSN: 1560-01-525-9585 Part Number: NP-1091-01-7 Quantity: Three (3) each SEE ATTACHMENT 1 - "TERMS AND CONDITIONS - 70Z03820QW0000063" FOR APPLICABLE CLAUSES AND INSTRUCTIONS. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) PPG Industries Inc. (Cage Code 53117), or a distributor that can provide documented traceability for the components. Award will be made to the offeror quoting the lowest price technically acceptable to the USCG. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the USCG. Drawing or specifications are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Only new items are acceptable. Reconditioned or used items are not accepted. All items must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Traceability means a clear, complete, documented, and auditable paper trail which traces each step from an OEM or distributor to its current location. The USCG requires that distributors or potential sources be ASA-100 certified or in compliance with other quality system listed in FAA Advisory Circular 00-56A. (Only exact P/N’s with traceability to the OEM will be accepted). Closing date and time for receipt of offers is March 02, 2020 at 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
