The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools or equipment necessary to complete biomedical hazardous waste disposal. The contractor shall dispose of all biomedical hazardous waste, including sharps, generated by the Medical Clinic and the two Sickbays. The contractor’s disposal services shall comply with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), state/local regulatory guidance on biomedical hazardous waste disposal. The contractor shall also provide annual training to Medical Clinic staff on Blood-borne Pathogens and Hazard Communication Awareness.
