In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Rex Fitness LLC for Gym Memberships to the fitness facility located within the Robert A. Young (Ray) Federal Building. The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, Intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Rex Fitness LLC, 11847 Smoke Valley CT, Maryland Heights, Missouri, 63043-1663. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rex Fitness is the source capable of providing the required memberships to U.S. Coast Guard personnel located at the Ray Federal Building. Description of Supplies and Services: CLIN 001- Description: BASE YEAR: Membership to fitness facility located in the Robert A. Young (Ray) Federal Building. Membership must meet all requirements detailed in the Statement of Work. Period of Performance: 5/11/2023-5/10/2024., Quantity: 47 memberships CLIN 002- Description: OPTION YEAR 1: Membership to fitness facility located in the Robert A. Young (Ray) Federal Building. Membership must meet all requirements detailed in the Statement of Work. Period of Performance: 5/11/2024-5/10/2025. Quantity: 47 memberships. CLIN 003- Description: OPTION YEAR 2: Membership to fitness facility located in the Robert A. Young (Ray) Federal Building. Membership must meet all requirements detailed in the Statement of Work. Period of Performance: 5/11/2025-5/10/2026. Quantity: 47 memberships. CLIN 004- Description: OPTION YEAR 3: Membership to fitness facility located in the Robert A. Young (Ray) Federal Building. Membership must meet all requirements detailed in the Statement of Work. Period of Performance: 5/11/2026-5/10/2027. Quantity: 47 memberships. CLIN 005- Description: OPTION YEAR 4: Membership to fitness facility located in the Robert A. Young (Ray) Federal Building. Membership must meet all requirements detailed in the Statement of Work. Period of Performance: 5/11/2027-5/10/2028. Quantity: 47 memberships. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on 24 April 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
