THIS NOTICE WAS UPDATED ON 17 JUNE 2024 WITH THE FOLLOWING: Due to availability of the pier for the required scaffolding services, the period of performance start date has been moved to 01 July 2024, with scaffolding removed no later than 08 July 2024. All other specifications detailed in this requirement remain unchanged. Responses are now due no later than 24 June 2024 at 3:00PM ET. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Services, and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 52800PR240001518 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. This RFQ is for scaffolding onboard the CGC Hamilton from the Air Search Radar platform (~120ft ABL) to the top of the TACAN to provide aerial working platforms with a base located on the upper-most mast platform and a height that shall be field fit to allow technician chest level access to the bottom most portion of the TACAN Antenna. The CGC Hamilton is located the FLETC Pier Papa in Norht Charleston, NC. Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. This combined synopsis/solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time a quote is submitted, excluding outlined in FAR 4.1102(a). This RFQ is to acquire the below line items. All specifications are detailed in the attached document “Request for Quote-01518 for CGC Hamilton Scaffolding.” Line 0001, QTY 1, Unit JOB, Description: The Contractor shall provide Scaffolding Services to include installation, dismantling, and any necessary equipment to support TACAN antenna maintenance onboard the CGC HAMILTON located in North Charleston, SC 29405. The period of performance for this requirement is 01 July 2024 – 08 July 2024. Services will be performed at USCGC HAMILTON, FLETC Pier Papa, S Hobson Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405.
