The Coast Guard seeks a small-business set-aside, fixed-price contractor to furnish all crane services, rigging equipment, and operators to remove existing main diesel engines and install two Government-furnished MTU 20V4000M93L engines aboard CGC Kathleen Moore at USCG Base Miami Beach, 100 MacArthur CSWY, Miami Beach, FL 33139. The contractor must provide a rigging plan, certified crane/rigging/operator documentation, condition found reports, a final report, and comply with OSHA/Coast Guard safety, quality, and inspection requirements. Work is during the main engine renewal availability, with normal hours Monday–Friday 0800–1500 and no weekends or holidays; notify the Coast Guard one week before start and 24 hours before each lift, and request after-hours work at least 5 working days in advance. Anticipated award is 10 business days after close, on or about October 12, 2026, with best-value selection based on cost and past performance. Offerors must submit a price breakdown for materials/equipment and labor, and site inspection is highly encouraged by arranging with the point of contact at least 3 working days in advance.
