STBD Anchor and swivel shot of chain lost during last underway period. Currently cutter doesn’t have redundancy if the PORT anchor was to fail during next U/W period. 1.2 Government-furnished property. Anchor and chain assembly is expected on location on or around 05APR2024. 2. REQUIREMENTS a. BACKGROUND – While retrieving anchor from anchorage area during last patrol the STBD Anchor and swivel shot of chain was lost due to link failure. b. SCOPE – Contractor is needed to install the STBD Anchor and chain assembly on CGC VENTUROUS. The anchor and chain assembly will be provided and has an estimated delivery date of 05APR2024 to St. Petersburg, Florida.
