BACKGROUND: The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Command (SFLC) has a requirement for lagging; heat, and thermal barrier to be installed on the exhaust systems for heat dissipation and safety of the engineers. SCOPE: Vendor shall be able to produce like and kind thermal product called out in the USCG DWG 154B-WPC-508-201 document. The fit form and function of this product must meet all standards called out in above referenced DWG. REQUIREMENTS: The vendor will provide support for the following: -Fabricate a like in kind thermal blanket system to be compatible with/to existing thermal system. -Fits and forms to the WPC 154’ exhaust system. -This thermal blanket shall meet all standards as called out in CG DWG 154B-WPC-508-201 and all other referenced documents -The system shall be able to be secured over the current exhaust system with fasteners for ease of installation and removal purposes by the crew. -Installation is not required, but ship fit is recommended.
