This announcement is seeking interested sources and will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry. The Government has a requirement for lube oil; analysis and testing to be performed in accordanced with the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The intent of including this SOW is to provide interested sources a brief description of the supplies and/or services required by the Government. The draft SOW is only a draft and may contain changes if and when the solicitation for this requirement is issued. Responses to this notice shall include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC), and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), which will allow the USCG to understand your full capabilities. Responses should include completion of the attached questionnaire. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there are companies capable of performing the requirements. All interested firms must have an active registration in SAM at www.sam.gov and must be registered at time of submission of the offer and throughout the performance of the resultant contract. Interested firms must reply via e-mail to Seth Andrew at, Seth.A.Andrew@uscg.mil. The subject line of the email must identify the title or ID number of the RFI. The due date for responses is fifteen (15) calendar days from the date this ntice is posted.
