OWS would not get out of the initial freshwater flush cycle and begin processing bilge water. Ship’s force contacted technical support and they advised to “Do a freshwater flush Before starting the OWS, the measuring cell (PPM should read 0 to 1). If PPM will not come down, then clean the measuring cell with the Deckman brush. If measuring cell is reading okay, then skip to step #2. With the unit processing in tank mode and backpressure around 2 bar. Increase the back pressure 0.5 bar and give the unit couple minutes for PPM to come down. If not repeat step #2 but give couple minutes in between each backpressure increase so system can stabilize.” SF completed these and was unable to adjust back pressure or get unit to come out of a freshwater flush cycle. Service technician advised that if these steps would not work, a certified tech would be required. CGC FORWARD is requesting funding for a tech rep to come on site to provide any necessary repairs to the unit and training to Ship’s Force. OWS System information: Model WSE 5-01-037
