This is a total small business set-aside contract to renovate the Tracy Hall UPH Recreation Room at USCG Sector San Diego, located at 2170 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. The work covers roughly 1,066 square feet, including kitchen demolition and new prefabricated commercial-grade fixtures, a janitorial closet upgrade with shelving and a clean-out line, and bathroom demolition with mold-resistant drywall and a prefabricated vanity. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, with work allowed Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1600 excluding federal holidays, and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements for San Diego County. The facility contains asbestos in the ceiling drywall system, and the contractor is strictly prohibited from disturbing it; proposals must include safety plans detailing how this will be avoided. Relevant past performance and price will be used for evaluation.
