The cont... SCOPE: We are gaining market research to inform a decision on how to move forward on the below proposed construction project. Request comments and estimates for both of the following options. The contractor shall provide all design, supervision, labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment and other services necessary to: OPTION 1) Replace the modified bitumen roofing system and gutters on 5330 Tinker Street, Buzzards Bay MA with a new fleece-back firestone TPO 60 mil or comparable roof system system adhered directly to the existing deck. Associated insulation, soffit vents, plywood sheathing, flashing, drain covers, fascia system, drip edges and other accessories/components that are degraded or damaged should be replaced as needed to provide a complete, watertight surface. OPTION 2) Replace flat top roof with new pitched roof. Provide architect/engineer services to develop a new approved simple truss roof design that provides a slopped watertight surface with increased drainage capability. Associated insulation, soffit vents, plywood sheathing, flashing, drain covers, fascia system, drip edges, gutters and other accessories/components should be considered included and all roof penetrations should be extended as necessary to match the new roof design. The house will not be occupied during performance of work under this contract. Estimated roofing square footage is below but should be field verified by the contractor.
