The contractor must remove an existing HVAC package unit and supply/install a new vertical package unit (model J48AF-A00XPXXXJ or approved equivalent) at Building 38, including all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision. Work includes disconnecting and disposing of the old unit, providing mounting hardware, ductwork modifications, electrical/controls integration, startup and testing, and replacing framing/siding above the units. The contractor must field-verify conditions, protect and if necessary temporarily remove/reinstall a vertical platform lift, and obtain all required permits and inspections. A site visit is scheduled for August 19 from 12pm to 2pm. Award will be made on a lowest price technically acceptable basis, with non-cost factors assessed as acceptable/unacceptable and no trade-offs permitted.
