The intent of this project is to restore proper operation, provide necessary upgrades, repairs and communication capabilities to the existing fire alarm system, circuitry and associated components in the USCG Communications Station, Belle Chasse LA location. Herby referred to as COMMSTA. The intent of this project is to provide repairs, direct replacements for existing discrepant or failing system components and hardware as well as any upgrades to software or other components as necessary. The Government’s objective is to meet the fire alarm and suppression system requirements set forth by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for Fire Protection Alarm Systems and Fire Suppression Systems, to ensure the safety of personnel and preservation of unit assets. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, and equipment, disposal of waste, supervision and personnel to meet the performance requirements for the repair/restoration/direct replacement of the existing fire alarm panels, circuitry and associated individual components in the COMMSTA fire alarm system. No repairs outside of the Statement of Work criteria are authorized without express written authorization from the Base New Orleans Facilities Engineer or their representative and the Contracting Officer.
