A normal commercial slide gate opener (recommend a lift master csl24ul slide gate operator) would be acceptable, please confirm. As per our vendor's suggestion, they would like some type of wireless means of control from inside the building. Our vendor recommends a wired 3-button station and a wireless transmitter for inside the building. 2. Please confirm that if we can re-use the existing key pad and phone access system. Answers: Yes a normal commercial slide gate opener would be fine as long as it is accessible for entry from outside the gate at the key pad, from inside our watch room in the main building and preferably the phone system here in case we aren’t at the main button area. If the vendor can use the prewiring for the existing keypad outside the main gate and it will work yes lets do it. I’m trying to address a few concerns only here with the gate. If it is vmag or not doesn’t matter to me. Gate reliability (being able to withstand the weather here with winds reaching 40-60 mph on rare occasions. // not so technical that it it out of our repairing abilities. // Designed to evenly distribute weight while opening and closing. Gate accessibility ( being able to operate the gate from keypad/watch room/station phone.) And lastly deterring people from trying to come in. ( top of gate deterring people from climbing // little to no clearance while closed on sides and underneath. THank you.
