The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer - Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to ALLIED SYSTEMS COMPANY for service; CGC WEDGE Scope of Work Allied Crane Anti-2-Block Hose Reel Assembly Repairs Background: While reinstalling A2B Williams Valve, A2B hose reel assembly was found defective and unable to retract hose once extended leaving it dangling to become a safety hazard and entangled in buoy deck equipment or personnel. Ship's Force was able to make temporary repairs, but unsure how long repairs might hold before wound spring lets go. Contractor Furnished Equipment: P/N: 49536, Kit, Anti-2-Block Special tools needed for installation Work to be performed: •1. Provide Contractor Furnished Equipment and Allied Technical Representative, for three consecutive days, to install P/N: 49536. •2. Complete all work required to install P/N: 49536, Kit, Anti-2-Block. •3. After completion of work, the Contractor shall thoroughly test, in the presence of the Coast Guard Inspector, and demonstrate the Allied Crane Anti-2-Block Hose Reel Assembly to be in satisfactory operating condition. •4. If additional work is required, submit a Condition Found Report for review/approval. •5. Provide an engineering drawing, bill of material, and a combined electric / hydraulic schematic to the United States Coast Guard. ALLIED Technicians for this equipment are only available through 16 MAY 2019. No other vendors are authorized service technicians. Period of Performance is: Within one month of receipt of repair kit, P/N: 49536 (8-9 week lead time), for three consecutive days. POP to be finalized with MKC Matthew Ladnier (Cutter Phone Number: 334-289-0354, Cell: 251-214-5671) Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code #333999 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM PST16 MAY 2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
