DHS/ICE Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, satellite television equipment and installation of this equipment for the purpose of enabling the DHS/ICE/ERO Detroit Field Office to receive DirecTV satellite television service at the following location: 985 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI, 48226. The satellite television service required by DHS/ICE/ERO is for nineteen (19) televisions. Internet and cable television services delivered via coax cable (i.e., Comcast) are not available at the aforementioned location, as coax cable service does not run to that federal building as part of recent renovations. As such, the only television service available to the DHS/ICE/ERO Detroit Field Office is service provided via satellite.
