1.1 BACKGROUND: The pipe bollards and concrete barricades along the Coast Guard perimeter located at the end of Orlando Alarcon Drive were critically damaged by impact from a vehicle that was travelli... 1.1 BACKGROUND: The pipe bollards and concrete barricades along the Coast Guard perimeter located at the end of Orlando Alarcon Drive were critically damaged by impact from a vehicle that was travelling East on this road at high speed. 1.2 SCOPE: Provide all labor, material, tools, equipment and supervision to complete demolition of existing damaged bollards and barricades and install (06) new cast-in-place bollards, and (03) concrete barricades. The bollards shall be placed in the locations of the existing damaged bollards. The barricades shall run from the curbside along the roadside edge to form a flush barrier for road traffic. 1.3 SCHEDULE: Period of performance is 30 working days from award. Within fourteen (14) calendar days of contract award, the Contractor shall submit a draft work plan and schedule to the COR that describes the work to be performed and schedule of work.
