The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) to COSGROVE AIRCRAFT SERVICE INC for brake overhaul for G550 aircraft. USCG Air Station (AIRSTA) Washington is charged with providing air transport to senior government officials. To meet global mission requirements 24/7/365, flight planning and aircraft support services are necessary to maintain maximum flexibility and mission readiness in support of global operations. COSGROVE AIRCRAFT SERVICE INC has established a unique and flexible approach to provide expedient delivery services and 24/7/365 support of an aircraft on ground (AOG) situation (i.e., aircraft grounded due to maintenance or repair requirements). These services are necessary to ensure AIRSTA Washington can meet requisite aircraft availability. This is not a request for quotes. A solicitation package will not be issued.
